How much does gruhapravesham decoration cost in Hyderabad?
Gruhapravesham decoration in Hyderabad starts from ₹2,999 for an apartment entrance. A full entrance and pooja room setup runs ₹6,999 to ₹14,999, and a floral arch or chappara for an independent house ₹9,999 to ₹24,999. Doorway width is the main cost factor.
What time do you set up for a dawn muhurtham?
Between 3am and 5am, depending on your muhurtham time and how much is being decorated. This is standard for gruhapravesham and it is included in the price — we do not add a night or early-morning surcharge afterwards.
Do I need to decorate the whole house?
Almost nobody does, and we would not recommend it. The entrance is where the ritual happens and where every photo is taken, and the house is usually still half-unpacked inside. Entrance plus pooja area is the standard package for good reason.
Do you use fresh or artificial flowers?
Fresh only. Gruhapravesham decoration is mango leaf, marigold and jasmine sourced the same morning — artificial simply does not look right for the ritual, and we do not offer it as a cheaper substitute for this particular job.
Can you decorate for Satyanarayana Swamy Vratham too?
Yes, and it is often held the same morning as the pravesham. The vratham needs its own mandapam, a backdrop behind the deity and banana stems at the corners. We quote it together with the entrance so there is one price for the morning.
How much does it cost for a 2BHK apartment?
An apartment entrance starts from ₹2,999, and the full apartment package with a compact pooja setup runs ₹3,999 to ₹9,999. We price 1BHK, 2BHK and 3BHK differently rather than quoting one flat rate for every apartment.
How far in advance should I book?
A week is usually enough. Gruhapravesham muhurthams cluster on auspicious dates though, so if yours falls on a popular date — particularly during Ugadi or the Dussehra to Diwali period — book two to three weeks ahead.
How long does the setup take?
An entrance-only setup takes about two hours. Entrance plus pooja area takes three. A full floral arch or chappara with interior work takes four to five. We always finish before your muhurtham time.
Do you do the rangoli at the doorway?
Yes, it is included in every package. Traditional muggu designs or a flower rangoli using marigold petals — tell us which you prefer, or leave it to us and we will use a design suited to the doorway size.
Do you provide the pooja items and the priest?
No. We do decoration only — flowers, torans, arch, rangoli and the pooja area setup. Pooja items, homam materials and the priest are arranged by your family, and we build the space so there is room to move around the rituals.
Can you decorate for a new shop or office opening?
Yes. Commercial openings follow the same ritual pattern — entrance toran, rangoli and a pooja setup — usually with a ribbon-cutting area added. Same early-morning timing and the same pricing structure applies.
Which areas of Hyderabad do you cover for gruhapravesham?
Madhapur, Gachibowli, Kondapur, Hitec City, Kukatpally, Miyapur, Bachupally, Nizampet, Ameerpet, Begumpet, Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills, plus most of Secunderabad. Message us if your area is not listed — we travel across the city.
